Condé Nast Portfolio
Condé Nast Publications • Editorial Art Direction & Design Leadership
This project highlights my work as Deputy Art Director at Condé Nast Portfolio, where I was part of the core team that developed the magazine’s editorial prototype and visual systems.
My role focused on shaping page architecture, typographic hierarchy, and narrative structure across feature stories and recurring sections. Working within a highly conceptual editorial environment, I helped establish a cohesive design framework that balanced investigative depth with visual sophistication.

Selected illustrations commissioned for the Brief section, developed to clarify complex ideas and support the section’s visual structure and narrative flow.
“Structure is the backbone of design. Without it, nothing works.”
— Massimo Vignelli
Brief
Developed and led the visual architecture for the Brief section, shaping its layout system, illustration approach, and information hierarchy in close collaboration with editors. This section was under my primary design responsibility and received an ASME award for its editorial and visual excellence.
